About

Abby Hinojosa is a contemporary fiber artist based in San Antonio and the owner and creator of Fresa Studio.

After earning her BFA in Fibers & Textiles in 2017, Abby knew she wanted to create products inspired by her artwork. With a background in both hand and machine sewing, she began designing and selling cute, unique face masks in August 2020 to support her small Instagram community during the pandemic. What started as a creative outlet quickly grew into her small business, Baby Fresa.

Over the years, Abby expanded beyond face masks into accessories, home décor, and, most recently, clothing. In June 2026, Baby Fresa evolved into Fresa Studio, alongside its new sub-brand, Fresa Studio Sewing Club. Through sewing classes, Fresa Studio Sewing Club aims to celebrate the joy of making by creating cute projects, building sewing skills, and fostering community among fellow makers.

Inspired by whimsy and the beauty of everyday life, Abby creates thoughtfully designed pieces that she hopes bring a little more joy into the world. She loves flowers, the color pink, and her cat, Honey, and continues to sew each product with love, care and intention from her studio in San Antonio.
